About SF SOS
SF SOS is a non-partisan, grassroots organization made up of concerned San Franciscans who want to reverse the decline of our city. We sponsor and support legislation and ballot initiatives that improve the City. We update our members about critical City issues and provide them with an easy web-based advocacy tool to allow ordinary citizens to influence policymakers collectively.
We have active members across the City and a Community Board of leaders from across the spectrum of issues and ideas.
SF SOS organizes concerned citizens into one politically effective voice. We provide structure and direction based on a pointed strategy. As a focused organization, we pack a wallop. We attack the problems that plague San Francisco through well-organized lobbying, ballot initiatives, issue campaigns and grassroots activism. We keep our members well-informed through newsletters and action alerts. We identify which politicians help the city at large and which hurt the city through their actions -- and we act appropriately to affect their decisions for the betterment of San Francisco.
SFSOS provides leadership experience in finding political solutions to serious urban problems. We study, we strategize, then we go to work. It's hard for one one individual to make broad change, but as a unified group we will have a positive impact on the quality of life in San Francisco.
